If something goes wrong,
your group finds out.

Crash alerts

A hard impact and stillness gives you 30 seconds to tap “I’m OK”, even from the lock screen.

SOS in one tap

Sends your emergency and location to everyone in the ride. Call 112 is right beside it.

Dead zones

No signal? Your SOS waits on the phone and sends as soon as it reconnects.

Health card

A wallet-size medical ID with blood group, allergies, conditions, medicines and contacts.

RideConnect alerts your ride group. It doesn’t call emergency services—in an emergency, call 112.

RideConnect’s crash alert: Crash detected? We detected a sudden stop. There are 18 seconds before it sends an SOS, with I’m OK, Send SOS now and headset play/pause as an I’m OK shortcut.

Questions

Good to know.

Still stuck? help@rideconnect.live

What does it cost?

RideConnect is free during beta, and the safety features are always free.

Does every rider need the app?

Every rider in the group does, on an Android phone with Android 8.0 or newer. Family and friends following a live location link or the Track a rider page only need a web browser.

What’s the Ride PIN for?

The host sets a 4-digit PIN when they plan the ride. Riders need the ride code and PIN to join, and anyone with both can follow the whole group on the Track a rider page. Share them only with people you trust.

Does it work with my helmet intercom?

Yes. With a Bluetooth headset or helmet intercom connected to your phone, group voice and turn-by-turn directions play through it. During a crash alert, a short press of the headset’s play/pause button answers “I’m OK”.

What if a crash alert goes off by mistake?

Tap “I’m OK” on the screen, lock screen or headset and nothing is sent. If you don’t answer within 30 seconds, your group gets an SOS with your location. When the app is less sure, it asks “Are you OK?” first and gives you 60 seconds.

How long does a ride last?

A ride is open for 24 hours from its start, and the host can extend it once by another 24 hours. You can plan a ride up to 30 days ahead: the group sees the plan and can chat until it starts.

Is there an iPhone app?

RideConnect is Android only for now. People on an iPhone can still follow a ride from a live location link or the Track a rider page.

Does group voice work without network?

Group voice works over mobile data, at any distance. It isn’t an offline intercom, so it pauses where there’s no signal and comes back when there is.

Who can see my location?

Your location is shared with your ride group while you’re in a ride. If you share a live location link, or the ride’s code and PIN for the Track a rider page, people who have them can see your latest position too. A live location link keeps showing your last position until the ride’s time is up, unless you stop sharing. Read the privacy policy for details.

Can my family read it in Hindi or Kannada?

Yes. The live location link and Track a rider page are in English, हिन्दी and ಕನ್ನಡ. Whoever opens them can switch language at the top of the page.

What about battery?

GPS and voice use battery. On long rides, bring a charger or power bank.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile, scroll down to Account and tap Delete account. You can also ask us by email.
